Physical activity

Although he is only 1-month-old, there are a few things you can do to help your baby reach the developmental milestones. Play with your baby on a mattress with hanging toys and when he's awake lay him on the stomach to help strengthen his muscles.

Make sure to have active game time every day and minimize passive sitting time in a car seat or a stroller that could possibly slow down motor development. Don't sit your child in front of the TV or any other screen, even if it's an "educational program for children", before the age of two-years.
